I told a lady I wanted to write her a love song but was scared to see disdain in her eyes. Her answer? Just write what you feel. Free thinking free verse

I Just want to Write What Is In My Heart by M.A.Meddings

I want to write what is in my heart
But cannot for fear of incurring
Her disdain
Yet this heart of mine
Never knew restraint in these matters
Therefore it speaks of its own volition
Quite simply
You are  beautiful and enchant me
At times and they are often
You exasperate me
And even destroy my resolve
With your lovely smile
Those eyes that beguile me
Therefore understanding
As my heart speaks
It does not mean necessarily that
I love you
I just want to write what is in my heart

Writing from the heart is truth in itself, its only the way it is received that will make the difference or if it is misunderstood but you micheal always write from the heart as everyone can see.

A heart of unmeasurable goodness...this you have dear Michael. Indeed, we should all be so authentic.

Your heart is full of love and it flows so softly from your pen upon this page. Beautiful words.
