I just read Kathy's poem, 'Weight of a Tear' and this is what came out...
No Time for Tears
There is no time for tears-only fears...
There is no chance to grieve-
only grief...
There is no semblance of pity-
only torture...
There no room for dignity-
only humiliation...
There no way to protest-
only bare up...
There no balm for healing-
only the pain, the helpless feeling!
Those who suffer go on suffering...
