Being neutral,
Is being between two points,
No matter what,
You are stuck in the middle,
And the truth is,
You saw it coming,
But you never believed it,
Sorry is not the easiest word,
It's the last word of the day,
Of the night, and so on,
Anger and vengeance,
Drags on,
Day in and day out,
Where do we go?,
What do we do?,
Anxious when sitting here,
Nervous when waiting,
To think ahead,
Is to act behind the steps,
Already planned and already taken,
In restless minutes,
What is happening,
30 minutes away,
On the other side of town,
But what can be done?,
To please them all,
Here will I stay,
Watching a mental countdown,
To the inevitable,
The board is set and the pieces are striking,
All you can do is watch,
All you can do is try to forgive, yourself,
As the hammer falls,
As the points collide,
And as we all remain, neutral,
And redemptive,
The dancer moves without a trace,
