Male Bravado before female beauty  often hides a lack of confidence. If only I could tell her how beautiful she is. I tried to create the trembling hesitence in this text. Romantic I know but hell its nearly Christmas with the mistletoe.

What A Little Moonlight Might Do For Me Now by M.A.Meddings A Villanelle

What a little moonlight might do for me now
Such  dreams amiss are  there in her kiss
Just give me the girl and the beautiful moment

And see how my words just gently soothe her
As we walk beneath the scented Jacarandas
What a little moonlight might do for me now

Then as we walk just touching finger tips lightly
I feel the tingling presence of her within my heart
Just give me the girl and the beautiful moment

Enchanted by her laughter and the radience of her smile
How I long to kiss her but dare not for the fear in me
What a little moonlight might do for me now

Nervous as a schoolboy upon his first date
Trembling inside I wonder does she like me
Just give me the girl and the beautiful moment

What shall I do? Should  I kiss her? yes in awhile
Never find out until its too late if I dont oh! god
What a little moonlight might do for me now
Just give me the girl and the beautiful moment

I know I say I love all you poems and I do, but this one is so enchanting and charming to read. Sweetly vulnerable and tender, yes, but oh so full of your passion. LOVE IT!!!

Oh wow. I just looked, and there isn't any mistletoe around me. Lovely villanelle from a very romantic hero.

Go kiss her! And then kiss yourself for writing such beautiful poems!

The trouble with men is that we want the moonlight before, but don't bother with it after. This one took me back.
