Promising Daybreaks
Each new day I awake
with a sense of longing a piece.
I await the daybreak
when my loneliness will cease.
Foolish longing and senseless tears.
Can a heart really save another?
Forthcoming losses and scornful fears.
If you can save me? Don't bother!
My personality is haunted.
Wicked grudges groan.
My soulmate is wanted.
Identity unknown.
Promising daybreaks are liars.
But they cannot fool me!
I'm burning with eternal fires.
This feeling of missing thee.
