DARK, BLACK, SHIVERY

The asphalt, dark, black, shivery.
I hide beneath the words of silence,
as I always do when my senses become to intense.

An old lamppost reveals a damp rain.
An empty street, as am I.
Detachment is impossible to terrify.

A tree is getting rid of its leaves, its history.
I see new life, beginnings and an end.
Life is too hard for me to comprehend.

I transcend the pain and vanish into the rain.
