This is the first time Michael (lastromantichero) Meddings and I have written together. He is a dear friend to me. I hope you enjoy it. I certainly enjoyed the opportunity to write with such a talented poet.

Essence (co-write with Michael Meddings)

Thrills that couldn't happen again
I really couldn't remember when
I felt so much in love

Like a butterfly's fluttering wings
My heart's voice with vibrato sings
An aria of love

And the essential Joy in you
Is what beautifully takes me through
Any heartache

The tenderness of our embrace
And your soft caress across my face
Enraptures my soul

Thus the beauty within you
and the little things that you do
keep you in my mind

And like the waves upon the sea
your love swells deeply inside of me
thrilling me forever

such a natural flow, in this wonderful write. I love the format, it makes for a romatic, yet sweet reading. As I said on Mike's site, you two write together so well, you fit like hand in glove.

Your words in this poem are so soft so walking on tip toes over morning clouds ... and still they tell of the one most strongest emotion in life - Love - the one thing that can heal wounded hearts and make us accept the most difficult situations in our lives .. and still this softness of love and the strength ... the one that has such impact on us as it sits beside us in life ... I love the way this poem tells of love in this strong and yet so soft way

your words blend together in this perfectly... a beautiful co write and a wonderful read this friday morning .....
