Passion
How can one stay stillWhen a fire rages within?
Love can't be caught and tamed,
burning passion never thins
Overpowering our weakness
It builds up a reaction
Agitating the most patient
And spurring us into action
It consumes the mind
And stimulates the spirit
Rousing the hardest of hearts
Pushing us beyond our limit
The shy become bold
As it burns in their eyes
For a passion this strong
There is no disguise
But there are those
who are our bane.
For our fire within
They try to restrain.
Though people may try
They still haven't learned
If you try to control fire
You will always get burned
