(a repost)Written 2006-08-09  I just felt the need to repost it. Dedicated to the women that suffer in silence

Beware of

You took the life
out of me;

Like a Dove Goddess
I scream,

your eyes turn red
and explode!

You will never see
me again!

You tried to take my innocence!
You have hurt me!

My rage is pure!
Feel my wrath!

I believed in you!
I love you!!
I gave you my everything!!!

Feel how your blood
tastes in your mouth.

You will not take me!
Feel the darkness

approaching,
ready to take you

to the underworld.
Take your last breath,

while you see
your life passing

before your eyes. ...
Feel the pain

you have caused!
The Furies are here,

to remind you
what you have done!

I take away your voice;
You will not scream!

You will suffer
in silence. ...

As I did
Feel! Feel! Feel!

That's enough!
Do you understand now?

I love you, get up
and move on with your life.

You will not haunt me anymore,
You are forgiven. ...

spending the time hating them for what they have done is in fact letting them win, in a way... those feelings are consuming and destroyers, for sure... loved the power of emotion in this, and the conclusion calming the tsunami wave crashing over, by letting go of the hate... thanks for this, a very strong poem, night... *hugs* xx

Yes to forgive means it ends because it is not what the person expects. Good show my friend.

I have NEVER felt pure anger like I did from this piece. It was pure emotion! Good work!

This has everything. It is complete. The victim realizes her plight, takes action, gets the upper hand, gets a taste of vengence, but it is a teaching lesson to her tormentor. Then she is free of the tormentor and free from being a victim because she has the strength to forgive. A story fully told and a map for all who suffer in such situations, of how to get out and go on with a life that can matter, with old ghosts left without a haunting place. The forgiveness is the key to her freedom. But I love the fact that the tormentor was made to taste his own blood, reaping what he had sown. Wonderful piece!

My dearest Carmen,
This so powerfully expresses the impotant rage of one who has suffered long in silence and has finally broken free of all the shackles to come out strong and triumphant, a victor, a survivor!
(((Big warm, fond hugs to you)))
Love, Zoya

*********************************

And until the day I lay me down and die
I will stand up and raise my voice
for the poor and the innocent, I cry out
- Live every day like it was your last!

And for those who condemn and lie
look out for your last day . . .
it comes and who gone save you then
you better be straight and talk well of others

And for all of us live your life with love
and love one and each other, because
we only have a short time on earth
so we better do the best of it

There is only ONE LOVE

Hugs and all the best to yuy, Dan

yes we must forgive those who trespass against us, because if we don't they carry on haunting us and destroying our self respect for ever. One typo in there, 'caused' Nice re-write, a little bit full on but you were forgiving in the end and that is what is important to your life. Smiling at you, Tai
