point of no return
looking in the MIRROR
my tears have ceased to pour out,
even when I see you cry.
you kept asking:
"why have you grown so cold?"
you screamed at me
hurting even more,
you say, i don't CARE and that
your words come bouncing off me
keep letting me know
that i fail at all i do
"You're not what I expect you to be!"
Instead of seeing what i have done
it's always:
"You haven't done that!"
I started hurting you,
you couldn't get through.
You looked me in the eyes,
looking for something,
something that would let you know i'm alive
where were you?
when I needed your love to survive.
where are you?
can't you see me screaming inside?
I'm trying.
If you would just listen,
I WANT so bad to be that person you want me to be!
I need you to stop shouting at me
look me in the eyes...
look carefully.
You're the only person that can kill...
the hatred smothering me.
