Raw passion unleashed

I Want To Lay With You In Summer Pastures by M.A.Meddings

I want to lay with you in those summer pastures
Filled with the scent of   meadow sweetened days
And feel the warmth of you  in my arms
Look at you with your soft skin glowing at noonday light

I want to smell the soft texture of your skin heady with
That Julie Adams Lux soap array or the smell of  a Pink Camay
Knowing you will be a little lovlier each day you live
Smelling the soft tang of vanilla as we kiss

I want to feel you shudder and tremble then surrender
See the pleading light in your eyes asking that I be gentle
As I do but not too gentle just enough to see you smile
And know that you realise the depth of my love for you

Julie Adams Lux soap and pink Camay... she was a real beauty and the soaps were around our home all the time, particularly the pink camay. Our mother's skin was soft as a baby's cheek. I love the visions that come to mind with this; wild strawberries, tiny delicate four-petal's yellow flowers on what we called sour grass, dandilions fully bloomed like small yellow sun on the ground, clouds that were like moving, ever changing pictures in the sky. Beautiful.

Michael this gives me a feeling of complete abandonment of all else except for these two lovers and their fresh pure love. Your poetry awakens all the senses and perhaps just caused this sneeze achooooo...aw warm summer pastures alive with love and pollens. Just don't forget the blanket. You've written another beautifully romantic poem. bookmarked xxxyb
