bearing gifts of gold
for what surprise
beyond his body's shield
may lie -- a lie perhaps --
from golden days of old
and Romance, naked, hiding
naught what truth may yield.
Alas, Sweet lass, which hand you take,
Romance without pretentious Charm
or Charm just for Romance's sake.
There off you go, Love, arm in arm
with Romance left and Charm is right
or is that Romance for the night?

Indeed, beware Sir Charmingbearing gifts of gold
for what surprise
