FLOWER IN BLOOM
"This is such a beautiful day!",
she thought as she entered the city library.
Her previous life had been such a waste of time
but now all that was about to change.
She had opened up her mind and spirit,
and she would from this day on
share everything with everyone.
She locked herself up in one of the library toilets,
and began her work towards a more fulfilling life.
"It's so easy to shut everything off!
To be a prisoner in this world, in this body!"
Her mother had always told her
what a shameful sin the human body was:
"The Lord himself would certainly not
appreciate the lusty behaviour of certain people."
And once, when the little girl masturbated,
her mother walked in on her.
When she was done with her daughter
the bleeding would not stop for days.
"Sins are supposed to be bloody!"
She stepped out of the toilet,
managed her way through the crowds,
and though some people gave her funny looks
she kept on going.
"Some people will never understand!"
As she reached the library's main entrance
there were people pointing at her,
and one of the librarians did not believe her eyes.
For the first time ever a completely naked woman
stood at the city library's entrance.
And as she stretched her arms up
through the ceiling and beyond
to the cloudless sky she finally felt alive!
"Here I am! And I'm all yours!"
