This written for a teenage friend who lost her life in abortion.
The first two lines in every stanza (except the last stanza, which is the other way round) represent the unprepared mother while the last two represent the unborn


Butchered {Abortion}

Two full moons of safety chance
cried away in ignorance-
All but a clotted blood
that can be flushed

Three full moons of expected miracle
run into fourth of panicking-
Forming already into being
for the world to come

Five full moons of serious confusion
leading into unsafe determination-
Already a being utilizing
the four moons remaining

Complied with the butcher
to terminate the innocent-
Sentenced to permanent slumber
for justifying the coupling act

Denied the enjoyment of life
for being timed heavenly
Residence bled out of existence
due to ignorance and stupidity-
