Inspired by Emily Dickinson

He Kissed Me In An Ardent March

He kissed me in an ardent March
And in aurora light,
Outside a vacant chapel
Of antiquity delight.

He held me in an ancient realm
And in archaic space,
My heart had risen o'er
Unto after the embrace.

He left me in a shameful haste
And in a darkness,--tell
My heart he wouldn't take,--
But, in with him, it fell.

He marred me in a gaping dawn
And in unwanted strife,
My heart from depths 'neath me beckoned,
'Twas to last all my life.

You are very good with imagery. That's super good seeing as a lot of people have troubles with that! Don't you love to get inspiration from another poet? I think that's the main reason I'm on this site. =D

Individuality
