Slender Persuasions

His slender stems, she dismisses
All his fragrant flower kisses,
Slow across her cheek, he teases,
Trails along her lips, he pleases,

Pretty pleases her with pledges,
Tickles her with feathered edges,
Loves her truly, he confesses,
Tucks a bloom within her tresses,

He undresses moonlit pleasures,
Knows the places that she treasures,
Swoons her with his moony glances,
He'd persuade her second chances.

M Heathcote
This is very sweetly written
and is nicely grouped with
In Love with a Red Rose
The two go hand in hand! :)

Excellent, as I read this I couldn't get the thought of those school playground skipping songs we used to hear, sort of along the lines of bobby shafto that kind of thing, this brings a welcome smile.
