Faces

Mother's face
of smiles and laughter
Recognized in
tight embrace

Soft in tone
She speaks "I'm here"
Smell me close
You're not alone

Songs and caring
Cuddles and love
Swaddles and hushes
Harmonious pairing

Stories and rhyme
With finger signs
One day soon
For baby to chime

Words are not yet
Understood
But meanings are
To not forget

Baby knows
Of mother's love
With every hug and
Day it grows

Baby's cries
Heard from far
Instinctively known
Mother replies

With mother's grace
And smiles and laughter
Soothes the tears on
Baby's face

ah this is so loving.. so tender... made me think of my boys when they were babies... and though a bit older now, i'm always there for them as best as i possibly can... a tribute to a mother's love for her children... words are usually hard to find to describe this feeling, but you did it... i felt it through this... very pleasant feelings and thoughts... thanks for sharing this, brought smiles my way... :) *hugs* xx

Individuality
a mother's bond with her baby, words are not needed, instinct on both parts take control. one section, perhaps using speechmarks rather than quotation marks - She speaks 'I'm here' as you are saying she speaks here.
