This is a stress release, giddy gallop of kathy quirkiness.

Macaws, Quackers, and Gorillas

The Macaws and Quackers quietly gaped
at the quarrelling gorillas so eloquently draped
in their Oscar De La Renta glittering gowns
that shimmered and quivered diamonds around
the fight club's kaleidoscoped rotating walls
were speckled and freckled by quantum law balls
and while watching this mayhem get carried away
the parrots and eiders donned dark shades in gray
to cover their eyes from the horrific glare
that bounced off the apes with a blinding blare
of light and color that dazed and confused
it mesmerized the flock and left them amused
So if you have a moment or more
take a ride to the downtown Knock-Out store
and take a peek as animals exercise their right
to behave as humans every Saturday night.

Dr. Seuss is so jealous! I had so much fun reading this and seeing it come to life in my mind. Remember that kids t.v. show Lancelot Link? It reminded me of that somehow. I remember the chip characters all dressed in different costumes doing people things. It was really funny and so is this. It has to be a book!!
