It feels like a barrel of fireworks,
All lighted inside my chest....
The adrenaline inside
Almost brings out the different colors through my eyes.....
I think of you
And there is nothing else I want to fill my head with
Other than thoughts of you to keep as memory:
The first day you said you liked me,
How uncomfortable the first date was,
How you kissed my poor soul with so much passion,
How you whisper in my ears
And make the fireworks relight all over again!

When you lift me up,
The way you do when you hug me,
When you hold my hand when no one is looking,
When you look into my eyes
Push my hair back and hold it back
The moments when you stroke my back,
These are the things I wish to remember you by.
I am never certain of what the future holds,
Whether one day I will hate you as much as I love you now.
But come sunshine, come rain

You're the best thing that ever happened to me.

this is one of those writes that takes a hold of you and reminds you of the reason people search for love. hold on to that honesty, that passion of the heart because most people get it sucked out of them eventually. its really beautiful though and the poem *bookmarked*
