Desired No More

No heart to heal.
No soul to care.
No love to give.
I am not desired.
I am not loved.

I have no beauty to show.
I can't give without love in return,
Tears flow within these eyes of sorrows.
Who shall not look beyond the face of
shame.

The mirror I do not see of darkest.
I do see the beauty of the heart without
the shame of age.
I weaken of the streets who stare and point
of the lines upon this face.

I walk without pride.
I cry without tears that flow.
My eyes upon the street.
I don't look up to see the laughs that play upon
their mouths.

My heart has pain of the cries they put upon
my eyes.
Beauty is the eyes of the beholder.
God blessed me with a heart of gold to not
cast the first stone.
To all I see has beauty within the heart and not
the outside looking in.
