This is not a poem, but my immediate response to Angela's beautiful words, that she has bestowed on me...I hope, I can one day write a poem worthy of her, but for the time being I just want to express my gratitude...needless to say, I am overwhelmed!
Awwwwwwwwww! Angei!
My heart goes boom-putty-boom
When I read this: It swoons-
It stops- and then takes a flight,
I try and stop it with all my might,
But, it goes on racing ahead your way,
Toward the shores of Poetbay!
Where gems are strewn on the shores,
With love and kindness and poetic lure,
That you are the kindest of them all,
I need not say, we know it all!
You shower me with all those praises,
You do not know the expectations it raises,
Towards my pen, who has to pay back,
Your kindness one day in white and black!
That you are a star, who shines so bright,
Across the Seas comes through your light,
It comes and shines upon my brow,
And my heart begins to thaw,
Now it's melting like a candle,
But, to you can't hold a candle!
More than this I cannot say,
I am too overwhelmed today!!!!!!!
