I love this story. I had the pleasure of watching the old movie last night on a cable channel.

Little Women

Beth and Amy, Meg and Jo
How l love that story so.
Little Women and their lives--
Writers, travelers, pianist, wives
All have such personalities,
Each with her own sensitivities.
I get lost inside their story
Of the love between Jo and Lorrie,
Of beautiful Amy's naïveté,
Beth's faith and Meg's winning ways.
This family is a treasure to meet.
In this book we are privileged to greet,
All the characters from one woman's pen;
Louisa May Alcott I count you a friend.
And, I thank you.

It's a good movie. Even I enjoy is, and book based movies are iffy when it comes to me. However, as always, this poem rocks the casbah. Very good work.

I know nothing of the sort, of such glamour. Maybe I'll rent out the movie? Lovely poem as always.
