The Way You Make Me Feel
Staring deep into your dreamy eyesA thousand horses trod my heart
With the sweetest words unspoken
You set my weak heart fluttering
You make me feel like a newly-born
Each day trapped in your presence
Is as sweet and new as the first
You leave me with an unquenchable thirst
Inching closer to your forehead
My eyes blink at the thought of a kiss
Perceiving the smell of your hair
You leave a heavy lump in my heart
You make me feel all so incurably crazy
I hear you even with your unspoken words
Your mesmerizing eyes make me lazy
I gasp for breath looking at your pupils
You play the drum within my heart
And your presence makes me long
For more and more of your drumming
Even in the pits of my aching stomach
