Unspoken words



Petals softly falling
through the dark abyss
this is where dreams begin
emotions flicker in the flame
dancing to a tune unknown
we are standing tall like the trees
catching clouds from the sky
I turn to you and understand
as the starlight shimmers
through your eyes
along the river walking now
watching time go by
you say to me "It is but a dream"
i say "i know but let's try
to hold onto the golden thread
until all bonds are broken
that chain reality to the fragile words
the words that we have never spoken."

féerique... that's the feeling i have... except i don't have a word in english to describe... apparently the word would be magical - but to me that just doesn't sound right... féerique sounds a lot more significant a feeling compared to magical... two languages can be a drag at times lol :)

the atmosphere i'm perceiving from the words made me feel like i was part of a dream... type of wished-for scenario or one that has been lived, playing during the night, in dreams... i like the effect i'm getting with the dialogue as well... the unspoken words leave one hoping they get said finally for them...

as always, your imagery lends a really elaborate picture for my mind :) beautifully written, i of course enjoyed this very much :) *hugs* xx
