Without One Kiss of Goodbye ~ Poetbay

My heart is breaking
Aching from all this forsaking
Taking the last drop of my tears
When in this past year
I have tried, cried, sighed
And even died
A little
Reading and writing poetry on the bay
To my dismay
It has all gone away
Disappearing in a mist
Without one kiss
Of goodbye
And I cry

Catch the drop

Before

It

Stops

On the empty pages

Of

Well said! I like the idea of going down with the ship; it would not be so bad if we had a mass-migartion plan for if and when that happens. Mayne there is a more promising destination for us than poeter.se. I heard from one bay poet who is already going to neopoet.com; other sites i've heard of that sound promising are blogit.com and dikt.no. I haven't checked them out yet. (I will copy this to the Open Forum discussion...)
