Seems like I felt a sadness then
As  shadows crossed my heart
And the tears of joy wrought ones of pain
In the thought that we might part
But my darling I do love you true
I cannot yet deny
This love I found for ever more
So my angel do not cry
I love you as i always have
In the days before you knew
The ending of my life is thus
The truth I find in you
