On a Tweedside walk hand in hand, we saw a single Robin and he sang to us a lovesong.

Robin Redbreast by M.A.Meddings

Robin redbreast
Essential singer of our love song
Y
ou watched as we hand in hand
Did walk in tweed side rain
And
flitted so enticingly
From branch to branch
To remind us again and again
That love was true
A
nd you pushed out your chest
Then sang for her your rippling song
A
nd in the notes of your tune
We heard you say
There is nothing wrong
A
ll is beautiful in your love

That robin is not the only songster
to sing their love so well... :-,?

My darling, this is absolutely the most precious poem you have written. It is beautifully presented as a remembrance of one of our most tender times together. That day will never be forgotten nor will be that sweet little bird singing, it seems, just for us. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxyblyvm
