Just One Word

she stands at the window
looking with lowered eyes
not daring to raise them
to see him walk away
Its funny how it happened
just that one word out of place
blown up out of all proportion
words screamed in her face
pent up anger and emotion torn
from lips snarled, now born
just one word its at an end
loves lost passion now disgraced
just one word out of place

Wow! You captured the scene graphically.I could almost see the Dude making a jackass of himself.

This is a homerun! We can all identify with this scenareo. You've written it very well.

God I know this word thing so well my friend! I won't repeat the word used in my case, it was too distressing to. Sorry is a good one to erase such pain, but most people fear Sorry more than the insult they give to end whatever did live, which is a great shame. A good little thought provoker here, smiling at you, Tai
