I HEAR YOUR LAUGHTER IN MY HEAD

I'm fine here
on my pedestal
The view is so magnificent
the sea so calm without a dent
echoing your call
a moan of sweet remorse

And you are in
your ivory tower
A view to every sacred place
in lonesome spiritually embrace
hoping every hour
that someone finds you there

I hear your laughter in my head
I see you naked in my bed
but you are somewhere else

We are so tough and strong and proud
so desperately here and now
the burdens we can bear

You don't need me
I don`t need you
we're ebony and ivory
you say and try to comfort me
with friendship in this blue
when I want ALL of you !

I'm fine here
on my pedestal
The view is so magnificent
the sea so calm without a dent
echoing a call
you cannot hear at all
