I wish I was a bird

Flying south
escaping life
when it gets hard
Birds
Brave birds
Courageous enough to leave
Start over
Forget things
Birds
Smart birds
Knows when it is enough
and pulls back
To something they'll manage
Birds
Predictable birds
Leaves
But finds their back again
To what they know and where they belong
