Without You
I have lived a long time.Seen lots over the years.
Some things brought me laughter.
While others brought me tears.
Somehow I kept going,
Somehow, I made it through.
I simply have no idea
How I have lived without you.
Without you, my life is incomplete.
Without you, I can't stand on my feet.
The world will keep on spinning,
Or so I'm told that's true.
I just don't know how I'll live
Without you.
Once I thought I'd made it.
Was king of my domain.
I thought I had it all.
Was not feeling any pain.
But then one day, it happened.
This, I swear, is true.
Suddenly, my life was sad
When I found the likes of you.
Without you, my life is incomplete.
Without you, I can't stand on my feet.
The world will keep on spinning,
Or so I'm told that's true.
I just don't know how I'll live
Without you.
So now I sit and wonder
Just how my life would be.
If somehow you could see your way
To love the likes of me.
I'll try to make you happy.
I will chase away the blues.
I'd hate to think of growing old
If I did it without you.
Without you, my life is incomplete.
