Walk Along This Road

Walk along this road with me.
Darlin', take my hand.
Let's see where this journey goes
As we explore a strange new land.
This road of life has curves and bends.
Who knows where it will end?
I just know I don't want to go
Without you here, my friend.

Walk along this road with me.
Hand in hand we'll trod.
Some things will be quite mundane,
Others, excitingly odd.
The highs and lows of everyday
The happiness and joys.
With you I'll be just like a kid
With his favorite Christmas toys.

Walk along this road with me.
Together, not to part.
Two separate human beings
That share one beating heart.
The road of life is meant to share.
If you will walk with me,
I will be a happy man
And live in ecstasy.

Pamel Brooke
A lovely poem, it is always beautiful to find some-one to walk hand in hand through life with.
