I'd Rather Be With You

Here I am all alone in a crowded house.
TV's, stereos blaring yet it's quiet as a mouse.
This feeling churning in my gut, I don't know what to do.
The only thing I know, is I'd rather be with you.

I'd rather be with you, walking hand in hand.
On a lonely beach, barefoot in the sand.
On a mountain top. Anywhere will do.
Anywhere is fine, as long as I'm with you.

With you I feel at ease, I'm totally at home.
Like we were meant to be, from you I'd never roam.
There'll be some stress ahead, challenges to work through.
The only thing I know, is I'd rather be with you.

I'd rather be with you, walking hand in hand.
On a lonely beach, barefoot in the sand.
On a crowded street or a mountain side,
As long as I'm with you, I'll be satisfied.

Just be with you, your beauty and your charms.
Sitting on the couch, watching movies in my arms.
We'll sing and laugh and cry, just like happy people do.
The only thing I know, is I'd rather be with you.

I'd rather be with you, walking hand in hand.
On a lonely beach, barefoot in the sand.
On a crowded street or a mountain side,
As long as I'm with you, I'll be satisfied.

I'd rather be with you, walking hand in hand.
On a lonely beach, barefoot in the sand.
On a mountain top. Anywhere will do.
Anywhere is fine, as long as I'm with you.
