The Paladin is back
in chivalrous and shining splendour
armed with beaming virtues
and prepared to save all ladies
with his golden shield and shining helmet,
irresistible to all the world,
the Azure Knight of Knights,
the age of chivalry having returned
and with a vengeance.
There will now be new enlightenment
to scare away the scarecrows
of fanaticism and rotten policies,
those darkmen trusting to blind violence
and terrorist retaliation.
Violence has never worked
to any good or any decent purpose,
while love only always can but triumph.
