A sequel...please read the first one before this. you may not understand what's going on!

In a pool of blood 2

I take her in my arms
Her soul is mostly gone
Her eyes are dead
But not quite yet
Black pools of nothing...
She gasps a little
Trying to choke out words
I just barely make them out

"I don't want to die..."

With that, her life ceases
A story so commonly told
For who has never read a story
where a teen tries suicide
and takes it back at the last minute?
They live to tell how they took what they want back...
Why could she not have the same pleasure?
Why could she succeed?
I hunch over her
Oh, why, oh why?
Couldn't she be less daring?
Hesitate a little?
So the knife didn't go so deep?

How odd is it that the most daring thing she's ever done
was also the most cowardly?
