This Window, Opened

Drifting down the darkened corridor,
Simple notes of forgotten songs
Chime softly from some piano so far away.

Like a memory stirred by a summer breeze,
My heart glows faintly within
Wondering which tune will play tonight.

Dancing through this window opened,
A slow swirl of melodies flow
Like a river finding it's sea.

Tonight my soul eases into peace,
Taken gently, step by step,
Into the wakening morrow.

Such a beautiful breath of fresh air your opened window does give my friend. Thank you, smiling at you, Tai
