This poem is written when the only one I ever will love, left me.. It's written from his side of the situation if you know what I mean..


I'm leaving you

It's not meant to be
I think we both know
so please understand and try
to let me go

The love we shared
I'll always adore
but it's just not
what I'm looking for

I've tried to reach you
but you can't see
all the lies
that lives in me

I'm sorry for all the things
I've told
you believed in me
with your heart of gold

I hurt you badly
but who shall I blame
is it myself
am I the same

I've changed so much
don't cry over me
it's better without
and one day you'll see

God in His mercy will light the lamps of the past and they shall glitter through the darkness, till the day break and the shadows flee away. It is not what happens to us in this life that defines who we are, but how well we rise after we fall. A very well penned heart felt poem of a" shattered" life.
