Tough Times

When times are tough
The usual face
and attitude is sadness
When times are tough it's like sadness and depression are the only
Emotions
That your allowed to feel
But that just makes the tough times
Tougher
It just makes everything harder
Everything seems more unbearable
But people who do where a happy face
When times are crappy
Everyone thinks they're hiding or pretending
That it's not happening
But that's not true
It's better to smile and laugh
At first the smile feels out of place
But it's better to smile in the face of darkness
And bright up what you can
Then to blend into the darkness and frown
