My very dear friend Alex has had it very hard lately, but he is a very brave and responsible boy, and I am sure he will over come one day! Though a response to "Tarmac path", I have been meaning to write a poem on him for a long time...

Road to Life is Never a Bed of Roses (for Alex)

Road to life is never a bed of roses,
Look hard & you will find there are
After all some bunches of posies,
But before you can find them, you have
To traverse a path full of thorns, next to roses,
There will be boulders big and small,
There will be lamentations, regrets & all,
There will be mountains to cross, rivers to swim,
Oceans to dive deep within, pearl of wisdom to skim,
Friends might not be there in thick and thin,
But river of life you will have to swim,
And swim across you will, because you are brave & full to the brim
With the wine of responsibility, truth and prim!

((((((Hugs dear Alex, to make the path less grim!)))))))))))

All the best in life Alex!

You shall over come!
Yes, I do believe, that
You shall over come, one day!

Love, xxx, Zoya

Your concern and love for everyone reflects on this poem dedicated to just one person. Yet it feels as if your heart is still open and welcome for everyones chance.

Brilliant.
