Lite Brite
Plaster a black sheet
onto the background
plastic pegs poke out
different colors
pattern only revealed
when plugged in.

Out of a black sheet
two white lights
closer and closer
only after impact
pattern revealed
two headlights
a winter night
finding myself among
the wreckage.
