I just read a poem by Rik: " no reason left to cry"; It had a profound effect on me, I jotted these lines down, in an attempt to define my feelings, I still haven't been able to describe my feelings...
Very powerful and profound!
It has a certain effect on me I find hard to describe!
As if someone is renting my heart open,
As if someone is pleading with the wind,
As if some one is whispering hoarse near me,
As if someone is crying close to me,
As if some one is shouting "Hallelujah!"
As if some one is prostrating in front of Thee!
As if someone is my brother own,
As if some one has the pain that is my own,
As if someone has a soul like mine,
As if some one has a heart that is mine,
This is what I feel when I read your poem,
This is what my heart cries,
Rik, dear friend of mine!
And still the feeling I cannot define!

HARD TO DEFINE (for Rik)
