My Cyber Lover

I long to see your face.
I long to kiss your lips and tease them into the flames of love.
I long to feel your embrace upon my body.
My nights are cold and my days are of memories.

I hurt without you near me.
I weep to know your not here to kiss
my tears away.
Down on bended knees come to me and
show me your my one true heart.

I can't go on with these days of you and I
making love through the computer.
I can't hold you close and see your eyes
of hazel.
I whimper knowing it's just cyber love and
not the real love of destiny.

I know it's lust between you and I because cyber
lovers are the kind that never go anywhere.
They just dream of the other and not become real.
They never see eye to eye and there always saying their love
Is so true.
They know that it can only be cyber love because the ring upon
Their finger will always remind them it can only be that way.

The tears fall onto the keys and soil the letters from typing to
There lover on the other side.
Down I fall into the cyber game and find my heart torn into
a million pieces.

I thought this was my true love on the other side of this screen.
Now I know it was a game of lust and not love.
My world has fallen and my soul became the roamer.

I never knew that lust became the ruler of love and
the game of broken hearts.
I felt I was going to be your soul mate of many years.
I felt I was in heaven to be loved by you.
I told the world I had a true love on the other side of this
screen.
I didn't know you were just a player of lust and wanted
to toy with my heart and make it weep of sorrows.

Hi rosie,
loved your idea of "making love through the computer" and " cyber lovers are the kind that never go anywhere" - there's technology for you, we still have the same wants and feelings but now they are all filtered through our screens.
Well done,
