A Brain Is Not A Muscle

I know a fellow in Brussels
Who thinks of his brain as a muscle
So exercising he takes to heart
Believing that will make him smart

Muscles, whether large or small
Can't create ideas at all
They may be good at pumping iron
But for thinking, they can't be relied on

Exercising may give brawn
But creativity it can't spawn
I think I ought to set him straight
About his brainless sorry state

I really enjoyed this poem! And it gives a lot to think about - can we make ourselves more creative? Charlie

There is a man from Brussels , after a scan , he was informed : ''Your brain , is the size of a sprout '' , on being so informed , he became rather windy , now he is a Euro MP! BOOM BOOM.
Cheers , Stan , & Don

Brilliant Stan, just brilliant! My mother, (a '50s housewife,) was intruiged with the passion for gyms, exercise, and personal trainers. She used to say that if one did one's housework, that was excercise enough. I agree with her, I can still see her cleaning windows and scrubbing floors. She was a very intelligent woman too.
