Trees of Eternity

It was clemently warm for a winter's day.

After the sun's cerulean sky decayed

the warmth still lingered in luminous array

until the delight of the chill's delay,

dwindled with the remnant radiant ray.

Pitchblack winds soon lick the limbs

of towering trees that tremble and bend.

Swallowed up in a blizzard's whim,

their  Hope grips Faith rooted in Him,

Even as  Winter's Death appears so grim.

Every tree must face Death's need

after blossoms fall and planted seed.

Some seek to have their spirit freed,

Yet blind to why Christ had to bleed-

The Prophecy's lead Tree of Eternity.

In that time, the Light will shine

as it opens the eyes of all of the blind

and renews the trees and opens their minds.

According to the prophecies and the wonders of signs

Will live the Trees of eternity, and no time to wind.
