Letting go

When the blind encourage me
to make a simple stir

When the lies absorb me
and I can no longer deter

When the view on the surface
is the one I prefer

I pray I can remember
a bit of who we were

I would borrow a little from Michael's comment and from looking over other poetry you have posted here to say that your writing would easily offer itself to be interpreted into songs.

Nice work, and thank you.

Michael Dyst
this is a perfect example of why a simple form of rhyming isn't (and shouldn't be) reserved for standard brainless pop-songs...

I'm not sure how to say this in english, but "nightmarishly beauiful as my first impression" wouldn't be too far from the truth...
