Serenity is not my home

In the pulse of challenge, I find my way,
Through life's twists and turns, day by day.
But when calm settles, the rush subsides,
A void emerges, where rest resides.

In the circling quest for joy and grace,
Each loop a lesson, each turn a chase.
Yet serenity eludes, a distant shore,
Anxious heart yearning for something more.

Problems don't end when they're done,
A longing lingers, a restless one.
In the cycle of seeking, I endlessly roam,
For in serenity's arms, I find no home.
