I was also a human once

I was also a human once
unlike the familiar pieces scattered
before thy absence left me shattered
in these abandoned paths.
I look into each piece and sigh
because some reflects you shadows and some my smiles
Carefully i pick them up
and they echo the tale of our good times.
Collecting and reconciling my scattered self
my hope has become stronger
to be alive again in my distant dreams
because I was also a human once
