Just feeling a little apathetic.


I Should, Should I?


I should talk to myself,
scold and chivvy
along my dormant soul,
motivate, disagree, debate.

Stale thoughts linger,
crumbs litter
the armchair of my mind
sitting easy.

Should I message myself?
email ideas?
phone a friend?
or is apathy, the end?

i love the bit about the armchair. me? i have a mental sofa, so i don't even have to go to the trouble of sitting up.

I get a mix between "ah what's the use, anyway" and "I don't care" kind of feelings from this. I liked the thought of wondering

"Should I message myself?
email ideas?"

It sums up the apathetic moment described, in my view. I enjoy your style of writing. Thanks.
