Stranger than you

I lost your love long ago
I guess I wanted it to be different
So I refused to change
You became what we rebelled against
What we shared distain for
Sad to see they have won
I guess heredity is a true disease
But you never believed in that until now
You said you were different
Stronger
But fate is unkind to those who
Give in to life in such a way
I wish the best for you
I wish the rest for you
Is kind, but history repeats
So it goes

A deep and thoughtful text.

Your examination of life suggests to me that you are a good writer, I hope you continue with it.

A very sentimental peice, I'm sure people will relate. All in all, a very effective write.

John.
