to my hobby: writting and the reasons why I write. I dont know why you write but I know why I do

Tears from my pen

Tears that flow with joy
Nothing but an expression of my achievement
Exhibition of my delight

Tears that ooze with pain
A message from a hurt soul
A letter from a wounded spirit

Tears that drip when I am lonely
In memory of the ones I have lost
In remembrance of those that I can't see

Tears that trickle when I am powerless
My mute noise
A song unsung

Tears from my pen
My tears my pride
My tears my weakness
My strength

One does not need to know the reason why they write to enjoy the practice. But it is an added bonus to know and in that way you are blessed. To express one's inner self and give it words are like wings that allow you to fly and share with others the many treasures that you yourself have formed and found. Thanks for sharing and welcome to the bay.

Well structured, potent and powerful. You have an avidity of your own talent that shows as bright as the spring time sun. Keep writing - and welcome to poetbay!

John.
